Bethuno won the toss and 1 elected to bat, the respectable score of 80 t being run up before they were disposed 3 of. Ohisholm 23, Sleeman 17, were tlw 1 highest scorers, McKenzie coming off ; best with the leather, The benedicts i then went in, but only managed to put together 46, little stand being made against the bowling of Bethune and Perry. In the second innings the single men did not do so well, only putting together 40, e of which 14 were contributed by Bethune. .
