WASTE LANDS BOARD.

Tho ordinary fornightly; meeting; of the ; above was held yesterday mosnirig.- Present: Messrs'Buniry (in the cnair), Beetham, Mason, McCardle, and Fitzherbert. The. minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. ' 7 .Schedule' No i'46,'land sold since last meeting, was read and approved. . • •". A letter from, the Alfredton, Road Board was laid befpfethe Bo'aid, asking' authority to - divert deferred .payment' monies from the blocks in which they were raised so as. to/expend'them on %>rk in other sections. The Board; approved of the proposed expenditure of : 9d. They also resolved to inform. the-Rdad Board'that if a general scheme, 'were submitted for approval, ''authority would probably be given for expending: deferred payment funds as they becaihe' : due,- It was also, resolved to write to 'Other boards to the same'.effect.. ■

It was resolved to inform Mr J. Campbell that his request to be allowed to purchase section 98, Block 11., Kopuaranga, for ready cash could not be complied with.
