WAIRARAPA EAST COUNTY. UNDER THE ROADS AND BRIDGES CONSTRUCTION ACT. A PROPOSAL to levy a epccip.l rate to meet the yearly instalments on a grant of £659 for expenditure on the Eketahuna-Tinui line of road having been earned by poll on the 20th of June last, I hereby give notice that the Council intends, at a special meeting to bo hold on SATURDAY, the 24th day of January-, 1885, at 11 a.m. to strike a special rate of one-eleventh of a penny in the ,E on the rateable value of all properties included within the Eketahuna to I'inui road rating area. • '■ The rate will bo an annually recurring rate for a period of ten years, payable yearly at the County Officeß, Masterton, on the first day of March in each year, and the first payment will be payablo on the Ist day of March, 1885.
