GREYTOWN HOSPITAL REPORT.

Report of the Wairarapa Hospital Committeo, for fifteen months ending 31st December, 1884. Your committeo havo hitherto presented their annual-report &h(l'ba}<mcie sheet on the'3oth September in each year, but for vniious reasons, it has been considered advisable to make it make it up to the end of Deceiver for the future, bo that this report and'baianco sheet covers a periop of fifteen months, during which time 84 pafcjents have been admitted, 26 of whom were discharged cured, and 8 died, of those admitted, 32 were males, and 2 were-females, of those that died, 2 had only been in tho Hospital a few hours. Most of the cases treated were of a very serious- noture. By close economy your committee have been enabled to bring their expenditure within theirincome, as willbeseen onreferariceio balance sheet attached the receipts from various SQ,urce£ liayo been £430 9s sd, and the expenditure £399 2s 9d, which with the credit balance pf £8 2s I'fl, jn hand at tlie beginning pf the period covered by this report L}ayes a total credit balance of £g9 8b 9d, Recoipts, from subscriptions and donations, and also from patients' fees, showed'a' slight improvement on the two years previous. Since your committee issued their last report, a change has been made in the management caused by the resignation of Mr and Mrs Brown, as custodian and matron, and the appointment of Mr and Mrs Wales, in tljeip stead, with whom your committee have eyory roajiqn to be satisfied, ..
