Court :3 'from Taratahi-Carterton Hi'glijyay Bodrd-callingr attention to the necessity of having a code of bye-laws to regulate width of tires, on vehicles; from J. Robinson asking upon whose authority' some ,'metal was removed from C. R, Carter's land, and whatjcompensation the Council will give, '%,. Correspondence outwards was read as per letter book. . After some discussidn on the. k the estimates prepared by. Mr King vk the County and'Mr Connell on behalf of the Government for the Wahuioru bridge, it was moved by Cr Bunny and seconded by Cr Buchanan, that the Clerk write for plans, &c, prepared by Mr Connell and that they be handed over to Mr King for inspection.—Carried. . *gjk Resolveii—That the £1247 for roa«p 9 fairly allocated between the various sections of the County. Or.PhiUipa called the attention of the v. Council to the Carterton-Gladstone road being a .County road.
