The annual yearling sale of blood stock for the New Zealand Stud and .Pedigree Company was held to-day at Sylvia Park, There.was a large attendance of buyers, including the best representation generally of sporting men of the colony ever assembled here on such an occasion, Every lot of blood and draught stock was sold, the' total for twenty-three offered being £3311, averaging 150 guineas each, Had a fine lot reserved for shipment to Australia been offered, they qould havo found a ready sale, for they were, as was complained by some investors present, the pick of the bunch. The first lot offered was a. filly by Musket from Ericyna for 115gs to" Mr R. C.
