The time for starting eaoh event will be duly posted on the course after each preceding race. Hack races are open to horaeß that havenover won an advertised race other than baok races, or that have not run for an advertised race for six months previous to date of meoting. The District Race is open to all horses owned in the difltriot at least six months previous to this race mooting. In cage pf a protest the same must be lodged with the Secretary within 15 minutes after the race has beea run, with a deposit of £2, such deposit to be forfeited if the protest bo found trivial or vexatious. The winnor of the 8 stone Hack Race will not be allowed to run for the one on the second day, No scratching of horses allowed, unless through tho Secretary, and 15 miuutes before tho time of starting. All cntriflß to be made on the Club's print ed forms, entrauce moijey enclosed, with name, age at the time pf entry! aijd pedigree of the horse, name of owner, and colors of rider. Entry forms supplied by the Secretary on application. In all nominations for handicaps the previous performances are to bo given, No entry will be accepted unless accompan wjhamount of entrance nor wifl any enuy be received after tiie houj named, und e r preteuco whatever. Any jockey riding ex eot in the colors entered will be fined 2 cofs. The amount for second and third horso will be deducted from the advertised amount of stakea, Weights for Tracesmans Handicap Bnd Distr'ct Handicap will be declared at the Club Hotel at 8 o'clock on tho evening of the first da/s rapes.
