Keuter's Telegrams. Melbourne, December 3, Mr Booth, the temperance reformer, has decided to visit Auckland in January, and will open bis mission in New Zealand with a series of addresses there. London, December 2. In his statement in the House of -Lords to-day, Lord Northbrook also announced that the Government proposed to spend £5,000,000 durinq the next five years in building and equipping cruisers, and that tbis sum would be required in addition to the proposed expenditure upon ironclads and harbor defences.
