To be run under the Masterton and Opaki ■ Jockey Club Rules. The Saddling Bell will ring at 12 each day, and the first race start at 12.30 o'clock. The time for starting eaoh event will be duly posted on tho course after each preceding race. Haok races are open to horsea that havenever won an advertised race, other than haok races, or that have not run for an advertised race for six months previous to date of meeting. The District Race is open to all horsea owned in the dißtricfc'at least six months previous to this race meeting. In cas6 of a protest (he same must be lodged with the Seoretary within 15 minutes after the race has been run, with a deposit of £2, such deposit to be forfeited if the protest be found trivial or vexatious. The winnsr of the 8 stone Hack .Race will not be allowed to run for the one on the seoond day,. No scratching of horses allowed, unless through the Secretary, and 15 minutes before the time of starting. All entries to be made on the Club's print ed forms, entrance money enclosed, with name, age at the time of entry: and pedigree of the Horse, name of owner,, and colors of rider. Entry forms supplied by the Secretary on application. In all nominations for handicaps the previous performances are to be given. No entry will be accepted unless accompany amount of entrance nor wifl an enuy be received after tne hour named, under a c y preteuce whatever. Any jockey riding ex eot in the colors entered will be fined 2 sovs. The amount for second and third horso will be deducted from the advertised amount of stakes. Weights for Tracesmans Handicap and Distr'ct Handioap will be declared at the Club Hotel at 8 o'clock on the evening of the first day's raccß, Acceptances for same will close Bamo evening Nominations for Consolation Handicap to be made to the Secretary 15 minutes after the District Handicap is run. W eights will be declared 15 minutes afier the nominations have closed ; acceptances will close 15 minutes after the weights have been declared.
