RULES AND REGULATIONS. To bn run under the Masterton and Ooaki Jockey Club Rules. The Saddling Dell'wi'l ring at 12 each day, and the first race start at 12,30 o'clock. Tho time for starting each event will bo duly posted on the course after horses that have never won an advertised race other than hack races, or that have not run to date of meeting. The District Race is open to all horses owned in the dibtrict at least six months previous to this race meeting, In case of a protest the samo must be lodged with the Seoretary within 15 minutes after the race has been run, with a deposit of £2, Giich deposit to be forfeited if the protest be found trivial or vexations. The winner of the 8 stone flack Race will not be allowed to run for the one on the second day, No scratching of horseß allowed, unless through the Secretary, and 15 miuutes before the time of starting. All entries to be made on the Club's print ed forms, entrance money enclosed, with name, age at the tine of entry, and pedigree of the horse, name of owner, and colois of ridor. Entry forms supplied by the Secretary nn application. In all nominations for handicaps the previous performances are to be given. No entry will be accepted unless nccompan y w*h amount ot entrance moueX nor will an enuy be received after tne houj named, under a o y■pretence whatever. Any jockey riding ex ept in the colors entered will be fi ned 2so vs. The amount for second and third horse will be deducted from the advertised amount of stakes. Weights for Talesmans Handicap and Distr'ct Handicap will be declared at the Club Hotel at 8 o'clook on the evening of the first day's racts.
