The time for starting each event will be duly posted on the course after ■each preceding race. Hack races are open to ! horses that havenever won an advertised raco- ■ other than hack races, or that have not run for an advertised race for six months previous to date of meeting. The District Race is open to all horses owned in (he district at least six months previous to this race meet- • ing. In case of a protest the same must'bo lodged with tho Secretary,within 15 minutes after the race has been tun; with a deposit of £2, such deposit to be forfeited if the protest be found trivial or vexatious. The wiunor of the 8 stone Hack Race will not bo allowed to run for the one on the second day, No scratching of horses allowed, unless through the Secretary, and 15 minutes before tho time of starting. All entries to be made on the Club's print ed forms, entrance.money enclosed, .with, name, age at the time of entry, and pedigree of the horse, name of owner, and colors of rider. Entry forms supplied by the Secretary on application. In all nominations for handicaps the previous performances are to be given. Any jockey riding ox opt in tho colors entered will be fined 2 so/8. The amount for second and third horso will ho deducted from the advertised amount of stakes.
