OAKGROVE is by Irvington, dam Lady Sylvia, one of the most celebrated trotting horses in America, and comes from a distinguished strain. . Irvington was sired by Rysdyk's Hambletonian, by Abdullah, first dam by Imogene, by Seoley's American Star, OAKGROVE is a beautiful bay, five years old, and stands seventeen hands high, ot immense power, grand bone, combining speed with strength, and is adapted to get first class weight carrying bucks and eoachers. His full brothers on the American track have hardly ever been beaten, their recorded time in harness per mile being 2min 28secs, An Irvington two-year-old was sold recently to Mr Rothschild for 5000 dollars.
