WEST COAST STOCK REPORT.
At Palmerston oo Tuesday the 11th inst there was a large attendance, and the bidding on the whole waß spirited, We yarded over ,250 cattle, a few pens of eheep, and about 11 horses. The follow r ing rates were realised}—B year steers, £4 4s; fat cows, £3 lis to ±'4l7s 6d; forward bullocks, £4 10s to £slos; milch cows, from £2 2s 6d to 16 sa; yearling steers, 34s 6d; mixed yearlings, 225; mixed weaners, 13s 6d j fat wethers, lis; fat pigs, £2 10; small pigs, 10s 6d; hacks from £2 to 114. At Awahurj orj the 14th insl the following prices were obtained ; 3 year old steers in poor condition, £$ Gs; 2 year old steers £2 6s; mixed yearlings, 21s; forward bullocks, £6los; 3 year old heifers, £ll7s 6d to £2 ; fat wethers, lis Id (shorn); fat ewes, in wool, 10s 6d j hoggets, in wool, 9s 9d, Stevens & Gorton.
