OAKGROVE isby'lrvington, dam Lady Sylvia, one of the most celebrated trotting horseß in America, and comes from a distinguished strain, IrviDgton was aired by Rysdyk's Hambletonian, by Abdullah, firat dam by Imogene, by -Seeley's American Star. : OAKGROVE is a beautiful bay, five years old, and stands seventeen hands high, ot power, grand bone, combining speed with strength, and is adapted to get first class weight carrying hucks and coachers. His full brothers on the American track have hardly ; ever been beaten, their recorded time in harness per mile being 2min 28secs. An Irvingten two-year-old was sold recently to Mr Rothschild for 5000 dollars, OAKGROVE, with his sire Irvingtonand his brother Corbitt; was imported in Sept., 1883, by Mr John Kerr, the well .known Nekon breeder, and he is now admitted to be one of the grandest speoimens of the fast American Trotter that has ever been, introduced to a British colony.
