Hack races are open to horses that havenevcr won an advertised race other than hack races, or that have not run for an advertised race for six months previous to date of meeting. Tho District Raco is open to all. horses owned in the district at least six months previous to this raco meeting. In cass of a protest the same must be lodged with the Secretary within 15 minuteß after the race has been run, with a deposit of £2, such deposit to be forfeited i£ the protest be found trivial or vexatious. The amount for second and third horse will bo deducted from the advertised amount of stakes, Weights for Tradesmans Handicap and Distr'ct Handicap will be declared at the Club Hotel at 8 o'clock on the evening of the first da/s races. Acceptances for samo will close samo evening Nominations for Consolation Handicap to be made to the Secretary 15 minutes after the District Handicap is run. Weights will be declared 15 minutes after the nominations have closed ; acceptances will closo 15 minutes after the weights have been declared.
