The lime for starting each event will he duly posted on (lie course after each preceding race. Hack races are open to horses thathavenever won an advertised race other than hack races, or that have not run lor ail advertised race for six months previous to dato of meeting. The District, Race is open to all horses owned in (lie district at least six months previous to this race ir.eeting. In case of a protest the same must be lodged with the Secretary within 15 minutes after Iho race lias been run, with a deposit of £2, such deposit to lie forfeited if the protest be found trivial or vexatious. The winnor of the 8 stone Hack Race will not he allowed to run for the one on the second day, No scratching of horses allowed, unions through the Secietary, and 15 minutes before the time of starting. All entries to be made on the Club's print eil forms, entnnce money enclosed, with name, age at the timo of entry, and pedigree of the horse, name of owner, and colors of' rider. Entry forms supplied by the Secretary on application, hi all nominations for handicaps the previous performaucesfaro to be given. Wrights forTradesmans Handicap and Distr'ct Handicap will be declared at the Club Hotel at 8 o'clock on the evening of the first day's races, Acceptances for samo will close samo evening Nominations for Consolation Handicap to be mode to the Secretary 15 minutes after the District Handicap is run. Weights will be declared 15 minutes after the nominations have closed ; acceptances will close 15 minutes after the weights have been declared, Horses walking over will receive 50 per cent only of the stakes.
