The District Race is open to all horses owned in the district at least six months previous to this race meeting. In case of a protest tho same must be lodged with the Secretary within 15 minutes after tho race his been run, with a deposit of £2, such deposit to be forfeited if the protest be found trivial or vexatious. The winnsr of the 8 stone Hack Raoe will not bo allowed to run for the one on the second ■day,- No scratching of horses allowed, unleis through the Secretary, and 15' minutes before (he trao of starting. AH entries to be made on the Club's printed forms, entrance money enclosed, with name, age at the tine of entry, and pedigree of tho horse, name of owner, and colors of rider. Entry forms supplied by the Secretary on application, h all nominations for handicaps the previous performances arc to be given. No entry will bo accepted unless accompanied withamount of entrance money nor wifl any entiy bo received after tne hour named, under any preteuco whatever. Any jkey riding except in the colors entered will Ffined 2 so/s, The amount for second and third horso will be deducted from the advertised amount of stakes.
