Reuter's Telegkams. Sydney, October 30. The Convention resolutions were under discussion in the Legislative Council to-night, and were passed by 18 votes to 9. The resolutions are now under consideration in the Legislative Assembly. Cairo, October 29 Telegrams have been received liere respecting the arrival at Ambukol of Lord Wolseley and his staff. The Hussar contingent and the Camel Corps have reached Assouan, and will proceed towards Dongola at an early date. Ho.vgkong, October 29. Late intelligence from Touquin states that the French troops are suffering severly from the effects of the climate. A large proportion of the men are unfit to take the field, ami tho number o(| the sick jist is rapidly increasing.
