When the leading lines of a pedigree are occupied by such sires as Newminater—the sire of Hermit, through the success of his stook styled" The sire of thiAge"—Adventurer, Orlando, Touchstone, Stockwell, The Baron, Irish Birdcatcher; and on the dam's side gives Manganese, Moonbeam, Palma, Francesca, Beeswing, Lady Mary, Splitvote, Pocahontas, and Echidna, the question to determice is, could there possibly De a grander combination of all that time has over and over again proved to be excellent, than the breeding of the subject of this notice.
