Gisbjrne, Thursday, Walter Tricker, alias George Henry Marshall, has been committed for trial for bigamy with Emily Harris. Charles Scales and Fanny Tricker (sister of the accused) deposed being present at the Church of England, Bulls, Rangitikei, when the accused was married to Elizabeth Marshall by the Rev, Ballachey. Bail was allowed in £4OO, two sureties of £2OO each, but was not forthcoming. James David Mackay, who came to Povorty Bay in 1834, died on Monday last, He was born in 1800.
