Dunedin, Monday. At the Supreme Court J. S. Robins for forgery was sentenced to two years, and Wm. McFarlane for forgery to 9 months. Dan Mann, wanted on soveral clmigcs of forgery between Christchurch and here, was arrested on Saturday night. Lnvercargill, Monday.
A young man named Frauds Campbell, a carpenter, committed suicide on Saturday by shooting himself through the head with a revolver: He had been suffering from ill health for some time and this coupled with the sudden illness of his mother appears to have unhinged his mind.
