They will not be allowed in carriages, and the owner must obtain a ticket, to be given up before the ond of the journey, before the dog is delivered, Return or Periodical Tickets will not be available for Special or Excursion Trains, except the Ordinary Time Table is suspen ded Parcels and Goods for Pipitea, Kaiwarra, Ngahauranga, Belmont, Hayward's, Silver Stream, Wallaoeville, Summit, Cross' Creek, Pigeon Bush, Fernside, Woodside, and at Flag Stations must be Prepaid, and will be put out on the platforms of those Stations at the risk of the Consignee. Special Notice—To ensure despatch. Parcels, Extra Luggage, and Dogs must be at the Station at least Thirty Minutes before advertised time of departure of Train. The Railway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of the Trains at the exact times notified in the above Tables, and in the event of any cirsum stances arising either during or prior to the journey being made which may render it impossible or inexpedient for a Train to pro ceed, will return the Fares paid, but does not undertake to forward the passengers Luggage.—Each passenger is allowed to take 1121bs of personal luggage free (not including merchandise of any kind), and for every 561bs above this weight, for every 5o miles or fraction of 50 miles, the charge will be One Shilling, No luggage will be allowed to be taken into the carnages, unless of such a size that it can be placed under the seat without inconvenience to other Passengers are strongly recommended to have their Names and the station to which they are proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage, and to satisfy themselves that it is placed on the Train, as the railway Department will not be responsible unless it is booked and paid for.
