Irvington was sired by Rysdyk's Humbletonian, by Abdullah, first dam by Imogene, by Seeley's American Star. OAKGROVE is a beautiful bay, five years old, and stands seventeen hands high, ot immense power, grand bone, combining tpecd with strength, and is adapted to get first clasß weight carrying hacks and coacbers. His full brothers on the American track have hardly ever been beaten, their recorded time in harness per mile being 2mm 28sece. An Irvington two-year-old waa sold recently to Mr Rothschild for 5000 dollars. OAKGROVE, with hie sire Irvmgtop and his brother Corbitt, was imported in Stpt., 1883, by Mr John Kerr, the well known Nelson breeder, and he is now admitted to be oho of the grandest specimens sf the fast American Trotter that has ever been introduced to a British colony.
