On this adjourned case being called tho defendant admitted that notice had been sewed upon him. Mr Beard applied for an order for the children to be sent to a public school,
Defendant pointed out that his son OLarles was over the school age. Mr Beard asked for evidence as to age.
The Court mado an order for the boy Henry to attend the school.
Defendant said the boy was christened Harry. . ...
The Court: You will have to pay 7s costs.
Defendant: How long will you give me to pay it. lam not in a position 10 pay it,
Same v Edward Bragging,--Breach of compulsory clauses of Education Act. No appearance of defendant, The formal service of the notice having been proved, au order was made for defendant's children Thomas and Charles to attend a public school. Mr Beard applied for his costs but the Court declined to allow them.
J. W. Lang v. Thomas Smith.— Rent L 3 17s. Judgment for amount and costs.
K. Hart v. W. Wood.~Wages LI 10s
The plaintiff said he was not in a position to pay the hearing fee. Defendant complained of having been brought down from Tinui to answer the case, and said he had oflered to pay the fee for plaintiff, The Court gave judgment for defendant, with an order against plaintiff for 45s for defendant's expenses,
