PiCTOtf, Thursday.

A house occupied by Miss Bowdou and hot* pupil!, opposite the Prcsbytoriim Church, was burnt down at 3.30 this morning. Nothing was saved, the occupants barely escaping. The houco was the property of Miss Broughton, and was insured for Ll5O in the National. Miss Bowden'a effects wore uninsured.
