Children under three years of age travel free; above three and under twelve y Sl?CaSge P r&c.-The Railway Do partment does not undertake to forward Horses and Carriages by any particular Train, but when sent they must be at the forwardine station balf-an-hourbeforethe des parture of the Train. The owners of horses must provide means for necunng them in the horßebox, and the Railway Department will not he accountable for any injury sustained through their breaking loose w otherwise, nor mil it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Horses. At Country Stations requisitions forhorse boxes or carriage trucks must be made the day before tni y are wanted. Doss must .bo provided with chains, or other sufficient means of_ securing them. They will not be allowed in carriages, ana tho owner must obtain a tioket, to be given up before the end of the journey, before the dog is delivered, Return or Periodical Tickets will not be available for Special or Excursion Trains, except the Ordinary Time Table is suspen Parcels and Goods for Pipitea, Kaiwarra, Ngahauranga, Belmont, Harvard's, Silver Stream, Wallaceville, Summit, Cross treek. Pigeon Bush, Fernside, Woodside, and at Flag Stations, must be Prepaid, and will be put out on the platforms of those Stations at the risk of the Consignee. Special Notice-To ensuro despatch, Parcels, Extra Luggage, and Dogs must be at the Station at least Thirty Minutes before advertised time of departure of Train. The Railway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of the Trams at the exact times notified in the above Tables, and in tho event of any cirsumstances arising either during or prior to the journey being made which may render it impossible or inexpedient for a Train to pro. ceed, will return the Fares paid, but does not undertake to forward the passengers, Luggage.—Each passenger is ollowtd to take 1121b9 of personal luggage free (not including merchandise of any kind), and for every sGlbs above this weight, for every Bo miles or fraction of 50 miles, the charge will be One Shilling, No luggage will be allowed to be taken into the carriages, unless of sach a size that it can be placed under the Beat without inconvenience to other passengers. Passengers are strongly recommended to have their Na<nes and the station to which they are proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage, and to satisfy themselves that it is placed on the Train, as the railway Department will not be responsible unless it is booked and paid for. Parcels and Goods—From the dboyo Sta tions can be made" To Pay" at Wellington Petoni, Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt, Kaitoke Featherston, Greytown, Carterton, and Mas ierton.
