Children under three years of age travel free; above three and under twelve years of age, half-price. Horses, Carriages, fcc.-The Railway De paitraent does not undertake to forward Horses and Carriages by any particular Train, but when Bent they must be at the forwarding station Balkan-hour beforethe aes parture of the Train. The owners of horses must provide means for necuring them in the horsebox, and the Railway Doiiartment will not be accountable for any injury sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it undortake to carry unbroken or vicious Horses. Dogs mnet be provided with chains, or other sufficient means of seouring them. They will not be allowed in carriages, and the owner must obtain a ticket, to be given up before the ond of the journey, before the doe w delivered, Return or Periodical Tickets will not bo available for Special or Excursion Trains, except the Ordinary Time Table is suspen ded Parcels nnd Goods for Pipitea, Kaiwarra, Ngahauranga, Belmont, Hayward's, Silver Stream, Wallaceville, Summit, Cross' Creek, Pigeon Buph, Fernside, Woodaide, and at flag Stations, must bo Prepaid, and will be put out on the platforms of those Stations at the risk of the Consignee. Special Notice-To ensure despatch, Parcels, Extra Luggage; and Dogs must be at the Station at least Thirty Minutes boforo advertised time of departure of Train. The Railway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of the Trains at the exact times notified in the above Tables, and in the event of any oimimstances arising either during or prior to the journey being made which may render it impossible or inexpedient for a Train to proceed, will return tho Fares paid, but does not undertake to forward the passengers. ' Luggage.-Each passenger is allowed to take 1121bs of personal luggage free (not including merchandise of any kind), and for every fiGlbs above this weight, for every 5o miles or fraction of 50 miles, the charge will be One Shilling, No luggage will be allowed to be taken into the carnages, unless of Bach a size that it oan be placed under the seat without inconvenience to other passengers. Passengers are strongly iccommendcd to havo their Names and the station to which are proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage, and to satisfy themselves that it is placed on the Train, as the railway Department will not be responsible unless it is booked and paid for.
