The Wairarapa Daily. SATURDAY, AUGUST 30. 1884.

We said yesterday - that the New Ministry, was contemptible. This morning we learn that it is defeated. Probably His Excellency the Governor will not care to'be fooled much longer by Party squabbles .in the House, and will bundle Members back to their constituents if they don't very speedily sink minor differences and, give the colony a decent Ministry. A dissolution would be bad for the colony, and at the eleventh hour we pray that the spirit of wisdom and understanding may yet pervade-the Assembly.
