Apparently the 1 inspector Ins overlooked some glaring 1 instances shere inquiry was necessary, ( such as tlis one, With tho assistance, however, of the committee of health now appointed he will no doubt be in a better position lor making a more thoroagh investigation. The'committee appointed has no easy duty to discharge. We trust it will cause 'a thorough investigation to be made into the condition of all the premises in the borough without respect of persons. No doubt in the infected list will be found many influential persons, possibly even borough councillors may have to be indicted, but half measures .will not satisfy the public and the committee mu'st be prepared to do its duty without fear or favor.
