Horses, Carriages, &c,—The Railway Department does not undertako to forward Horses and Carriages by any particular Train, but when sent they must be at the forwarding station half-an-hour before tho des parture of tho Train. The owners of horses must provide mcanß for necuring them in the horsebox, and the Railway Department will not be accountable for any injury sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Horses. At Country Stations requisitions forhorse boxes or carriage truckß must be made the day before thi y are wanted. Dogs must be provided with chains, or other sufficient means of securing them. They will not be allowed in carriages, an J the owner must obtain a ticket, to be given up before the end of the journey, before the do? is delivered, Return or Periodical Tickets will not be available for Special or Excursion Trains, except the Ordinary Time Table is suspended Parcels and Goods for Pipitea, Kaiwdrra, Ngahautanga, Belmont, Haywaid's, Silver Stream, Wallaoeville, Summit, Cross' Creek, Pigeon Bush, Fernside, Woodside, and at Flag Stations, must be Prepaid, and will be put out on the platforms of those Stations at the risk of the Consignee, Special Notice—To ensuro despatch, Parcels, Extra Luggage, and Dogs must be at the Station at least Thirty Minutes before advertised time of departure of Train, The Railway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of the Trains at the exact times notified in the above Tables, and in the event of any circumstances arising either during or prior to the journey being made which may render it impossible or inexpedient for a Train to proceed, will return the Fares paid, but does not undertake to forward the passengers. Luggage.—Each passenger is allowed to take 1121bs of personal luggage free (not in eluding merchandise of any kind), and for every 561bs above this weight, for every 5o miles or fraction of 50 miles, the charge will be One Shilling, No luggage will be allowed to be taken into the carnages, unless of each a size that it can be placed under the seat without inconvenience to other passengers.
