They will not be allowed in carriages, anl the owner must obtain a ticket, to be given up before the end of the journey, before the don is delivered, l'oturn or Periodical Tickets will not be available for Special or Excursion Trains, except the Ordinary Time Table is suspen ded Parcels and Goods for Pipitea, Kaiwarra, Ngahauranga, Belmont, Haywaid's, Silver Stream, Wallaoeville, Summit, Cross' Creek, Pigeon Bush, Fernside, Woodside, and at Flag Stations must be Prepaid, and will be put out on the platforms of those Stations at tho risk of the Consignee, Special No;ice—To ensure despatch, Pnrcels, Extra Luggage, and Dogs must he at tho Station at least Thirty Minutes before advertised time of departuie of Train, The Railway Department doos not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of the Trains at the exact times notified in the above Tables, and in the event of any cirjum stances arising either during or prior to the journey being made whicti may render it impossible or inexpedient for a Train to pro oeed, will return the Fares paid, but does not undertake to forward the passengers. Luggage,—Each passenger is allowed to take 1121bs of personal luggage free (not in eluding merchandise of auy kind), and for every 561bs above this weight, for every 5o miles or fraction of 50 miles, the charge will be One Shilling. No luggage will be allowed to be taken into the carriages, unless of Bach a size that it can be placed under the seat without inconvenience to other passengers. Passengers are strongly recommended to have their Na.nes and the Btation to whioh they are proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage, and to satisfy themselves that it is placed on the Train, as the railway Department will not be responsible unless it is booked and paid for.
