MASTERTON TOWN LANDS TRUST.

The usual monthly meeting of the. above was held in the Council Chambers last evening. Present—Messrs Hare (chairman), Perry, Muir, Gappey, and Bish. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed, and a credit balance of £460 7s lid was reported to be in the bank. A letter was readfrom Mr Dagg re the annual grant to the Fernridge school, asking that it might be made £ls instead of £lO, as previously, The chairman said he had spoken to some of the school committee, who told him that they thought £lO sufficient, Mr Perry thought it was sufficient. The Chairman said that he saw several horses feeding in the-Trust paddocks at Kuripuni, and thought such animals should be impoundjKfc Mr Muir asked if it. would advisable to call tenders for grazing.
