Passengers can be booked at Stations only on condition that there is room in tho Train, Children under three'years of ago travel free; above three and under twelve years of age, half-price. Horses, Carriages, &0,-The Railway Department does not undertake to forward Horses and Carriages by any particular Train, but when sent they tmißt be at the forwardine station half-an-hourbeforethe des parture oi the Train. The owners of hones must provide moans for neouriDgtheminthe horsebox, and the Railway Department will not be accountable for any injury sustained through their breaking loose t>r otherwise, nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vioious Horses, At Country Stations requisitions forhorae boxes or carriage trucks must be made the day before thiy are wanted. Dogs mrist be provided with ohams, or other sufficient meanß of securing them. They will not be allowed in carriages, and the owner must obtain a tioket, to be given up before the end of the journey, bofore the dog is delivered, Return or Periodioal Tiokots will not be available for Special or Excursion Trains, except the Ordinary Time Table is suspended Parcels and Goods for Pipitea, Kaiwarra, Ngahauranga, 'Belmont, Hayward's, Silver Stream, Wallaeeville, Summit, Cross' Creek, Pigeon Bush, Fernside, Woodside, and at Flag Stations, must be Prepaid, and will be put out on the platforms of thoso Station! at the risk of the Consignee. Special Notice-To ensure dospatch, Pnrcels, Extra Luggago, and Dogs must h( at the Station at least Thirty Minutes befon advertised time of departure of Train. The Bailway Department does not pledg* Itself to the desp&tcb or arrival of the Traini at the exact times notified in the abovi Tables, and in the evont of any cirsum stances arising either during or prior to the journey being made whioh may render ii impossible or inexpedient for a Train to pro ceed, will return the Fares paid, but doe; not undertake to forward the pasßengerß.
