Children under three years of age travel free; above three and nnder twelve years of age, half-price. Horses, Carriages, &c.-The Railway Department does not -undertake to forward Horses and Carriages by any particular Traiu, but when sent they muflt be at the forwarding station balf-an-hourbeforetho des pivtuie of the Train. The owners of horses must provide means for necuriogthemin the horsebox, and the Railway Department will not be accountable for any injury sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Hcrßes. At Country Stations requisitions forhorse boxes or carriage trucks must be made the day before thij are wanted. Dogs must be provided with chains, or other sufficient means of securing them. They will not be allowed in carriages, and the "owner must obtain a ticket, to be given up before the end of the journey, before the dog is delivered, Return or Periodical Tickets will not he available for Special or Excursion Trains, except the Ordinary Time Table is BuspenSed . „. Parcels and Goods for Pipitea, Kaiwarra, Ngahauranga, Belmont, Hayward's, Silver Stream, Wallaceville, Summit, Cross' Creek, Pigeon Bu?h, Fernside, Woodside, and at Flag Stations must be Prepaid, and will be put out ou the platforms of those Stations st the risk of the Consignee. Special Notice-To ensuro despatch, Parcels, Extra Luggage, and Dogs must be at the Station at least Thirty Minutes bofore advertised time of departure of Train. The Railway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of the Trains at the exact times notified in the above Tables, and in the event of any circumstances arising either during or prior to the journey being made which may render it impossible or inexpedient for a Train to proceed, will return tho Fares paid, but does not undertake to forward the passengers. • Luegage.-Each passenger is allowed to take 1121bs of personal luggage free (not in eluding merchandise of any kind), and foi every 561bs above this weight, for every f>c mile's or fraction of 50 miles, the'charge will be One Shilling. Noluggage will be allowed to be taken into the carnages, unless of sach a size that it can be placed under the seal without inconvenience to other passengers. Passengers are strongly recommended _tc have their Names and the station to which they are proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage, and to satisfy themselves that it is placed on the Train, as the railway Department will not be responsible unless if is booked and paid for.
