Children under three years of age travel free; above three and under twelve years of age, half-price. . Horses, Carriages, 46,-The- Railway Department does not undertake to forward Horses and Carriages by any particular Train, but when sent they must be at the forwarding station half-an-hourbeforethe des parturo of the Train. The owners of horses must provide moans for necuring them in the horsebox, and the Railway D.«artment will not bo accountable for any injury sustained through their breaking loose ur otherwise, nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious .Horses. At Country Stations requisitions forhorse boxes, or carnage trucks must bo mado the day before th.y aro wanted. , Dogs must be provided ran chaius, or other sufficient means of scouring them. They will not be allowed in carriages, and the owner must obtain a ticket, to be given up before the end of tbe journey, before the dog is delivered, . Return or Periodical Tickets will not be available for Special or Excursion Trains, except the Ordinary Time Table is suspended Parcels and Goods forPipitea, Kaiwarra, Ngahauranga,' Belmont, Hay ward's,. Sliver Stream, Wallaooville, Summit, Cross' Creek, Pigeon Bush, Femside, Woodside, and at Flag Stations, must be Prepaid, aud will be put out on the platforms of those Stations at the risk of the Consignee. Special Notice-To ensure despatch, Parcels, Extra Luggage, and Dogs must bo at the Station at least Thirty Minutes before advertised time of departure of Train. The Railway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of the Trains at the exact times notified in the above Tables, and in the event of any circumstances arising either during or prior to the journey being made which may render it impossible or inexpedient for a Train to pro • ceed, will return the Fares paid, but does not undertake to forward the passengers. Luggage.-Each passenger is ollowtd to take 1121bs of personal luggage free (not in eluding merchandise of any kind), and for every sGlbs above this weight, for every 5o miles or fraction of 50 miles, the charge will be Oue Shilling. No luggage will be allowed to be taken into the carriages, unless of saeh a size that it can ho placed under the seat without inconvenience to other passengers. Passengers are strongly recommended _to have their Names and tbe station to which they aro proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage, and to satisfy themselves that it is placed on the Train, as the railway Department will not be responsible unless it is booked and paid for, Parcels and Gobds-From the abovo Sta tions can be made " To Pay" at Welling ton Petoni, Lower Hutt, Uppor Hutt, Kftitoke Featherston, Grey town, Carterton, and Mas terton. , , All time-tables issued prior to this date tro cancelled.
