Children under three years of age travel free; above three and trader twelve years of age, half-price. Horses, Carriages, &c.-The Radway Department does not undertake to forward Horses and Carriages by any particular Train but when sent they must be at the forwards station hali-an-hourbeforethe des parture of the Train. The owners of horses must provide means for r.ccuringtheminthe horsebox, and the Railway Department ml not be accountable for any injury sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Horses. At Country Stations requisitions forhorso boxes or carnage trucks must be made the day before tiny are wanted. . Dogs must be provided with chains, or other sufficient means of securing them. They will not be allowed in carriages, and the owner must obtain a ticket, to be given up before the end of the journey, before the dot'is delivered, Return or Periodical Tickets will not be available for Special or Excursion Trains, nxnept the Ordinary Time Table is suspended Parcels and Goods for Pipitea, Kaiwarra, Ngahauranga, Belmont, Hayward's, Silver Stream, Wallaoeville, Summit, Cross' Creek, Pigeon BuA, Fernside, Woodside, and at Flag Stations must be Prepaid, and will be put out on the platikmu of those Stations at the risk of the Consignee. Special Notice-To ensure despatch, Parcels, Extra Luggage, and Dogs mart be at the Station at least Thirty Minutes before advertised time of departure of Train. The Railway Department does not pledge itself to thedespatob or arrival of the Trains at the exact times notified in the above Tables, and in the event of any ciraumstances arising either during or prior to the journey being made which may render it impossible or inexpedient for a Train lo proceed, will return the Fares paid, but does not undertako lo forward the passengers. Luegage.-Each passenger is allowed to take 1 l'ilbs of personal lujjgago freo (not in eluding merchandise of auy kind), and for overy 561bs above this weight, for every 5o miles or fraction of 50 miles, the charge will be One Shilling. No logeago mil be allowed to be faken into the carriages, unless of such a size that it can bo placed under the seat without inconveniuucß to other passengers. Passengers are strongly recommended to have their Ns.nes and the station to which they are proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage, and to satisfy themselves that it is placed on the Train, as the railway Department will not bo responsible unless it is booked and paid for. Parcels and Goods—From the above Sta tions can be made " To Pay" at Welling ton Petoni, Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt, Kaitoke Featherston, Greytown, Carterton, and Mas terton.
