Parleying between Mr Patenotors, the French Minister, and the Chinese official at Shanghai, on the subject of France's clain for an indemnity on account of the Langson outrage is still proceeding. Meanwhile, the French fleet, under Admiral Courbet, remains at Foochbw, with the view of lolding the place if the French demands are refused.
■ Paris, July 29. A renewal'of the panic has occurred at Toulon owing to the continued spread of cholera, and the Government officials are reported to be deserting their posts. A further slight outbreak of cholera has .occurred here 'and at .Aries, and Nimas is the neighborhood of Marseilles.
