To the Editor, regard to Mr Sutton's state, ment at Mr Beetham's meeting hi Masterton that complaints were made to Mr Bailey by a discharged shepherd at Mataikuna, I beg to state that on the only occasion on which Mr Bailey was at Mataikuna he had no conversation with any shepherd discharged or othnrwiso, I may also state that there has been no Bbepberd discharged from Mataikuna during the last four years, I am, &c, F, A, Sheath,
