WAIUAMPA LOCAL EXTKA TEAIN SERVICE, (Saturdays Only.) GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS. Passengers can be booked at Stations only on condition that there is room in the Train. Children under three years of age travel free; above three and under twelve years oi age, half-price, Horses, Carriages, &c,—The Railway Department docs not undertake to forward Hoieos and Carriages by any particular Train, but when sent they must be at the forwarding station balf-an-hourbeforethe des pirtnre of the Train. The owners of horses must provide means for Becuiing them in the horsebox, and the Railway Department will not bo accountable for any injury sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Horses, At Country Stations rfquisitiona forhorso boxes or carriages trucks must he inado the day beforo they are wanted. Dogs must be provided with chains, or other sufficient means of securing them, They will not ho allowed in carriages, and the owner must obtain a ticket, to he given up before the end of tl;o journey, before the do« 13 delivered, Return or Periodical Tickets will not be available fur Special or Excursion Trains, except the Ordinary Time Table is suspended Parcels anil Goods forPipilea, Kaiwarra, Ngahauratign, Belmont, Hayward's, Silver Stream, "WalUiojvillu, Summit, Cross' Creek, Pigeon Bufli, I'ernside, Woodeidc, and at Flaß Stations, must bo Prepaid, and will be put out on the platforms of those Stations at the risk of the Consignee, Special Notice—To onsuro despatch, Parcels, Extra Luggage, and Dogs must be at tho Station at least Thirty Minutes before advertised time of departure of Train, The Kailway Department docs not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of the Trains at tho exact times notified in the above Tables, and in the event of any cirjumstances arising either during or prior to tho journey being made which may render it impossible or inexpedient for a Train to proceed, will return tho Fares paid, but docs not undertake lo forward the passengers. Luegage.-Each passenger is ollowtd to take 1121ba of personal luggage free (not in eluding merchandise of any kind), and for every OGlbs above this weight, for every sq' miles or fraction of 60 miles, the charge will be Ono Shilling, No luggago will be allowed to be taken into the carriages, unless of such a size that it oan be placed under tho seat without inconvenience to other passengers. Passengers are strongly recommended to have their Names and the station to which they are proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage, ana to satisfy themselves that it is placed on tho Train, as the railway Department will not be responsible unless it is booked and paid for. Parcels and Goods—From the above Sta tions can be made" To' Pay" at Welling ton Petoni, Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt, Kaitoke Fcatherßton, Greytown, Carterton, and Mas tcrton.
