CLIPPERS BEWARE.
TO THE EDITOH, • Sir,—ln looking through tho files of newspapers kept at the Masterton Institute the- other evening, I found extracts had , cut out of several 'pt them, This, sir, is an act' that is'mucli to be deprecated, as i 1; entirely spoils the use of the Ijlos, ami 1 wonder that the person or personi? who are in tho habit of doing ibis frolish thingdo not display .a little more sense. If there is anything in the papers-that is of value to any individual, surely lie can afford to purchase a copy of the whole paper, not go to the Institute:and steal —for it is stealing—a part of tha paper, and thereby destroy the use of the file. If he cannot do that, he should write out a copy from the tile, not cut it out. I would like to point out that there is a reward of some £2 offered l,y the Committee for such information as will lead to the conviction of this class of persons, and I hope that if the Committeo find out who the offender-'is they will make an example of him, and so prevent others from doing tip's mean action, It is evident that if this practiqe is i]ot stopped, the flies, that are very valuable in their entirety, will he useless. , Yours, ifec., Visitor,
