Children under three years of age travel free; abovo three and under twelve years of age, half-price, Horses, Carriages, &c—Tho Railway Department does not undertake to forward Hornes and Carriages by any particular Train, but when sent they must be at tho forwarding station balf-an-hourbeforetlio dos pwture of the Train, The owners of horses must provide means for securing them in the horsebox, and tho Railway Department will not be accountable for any injury sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Horses, At Country Stations requisitions forhorse .boxes or carriages trucks must bo rondo tho day before they aro wanted, Dogs must bo provided with chains, or other sufficient nieaus of securing them. They will not bo allowed in carriages, and tho owner mast obtaiu a ticket, to bo given up before tho end of tho journey, boforo the clou is delivered, Return or Periodical Tickets will not bo available for Special or Excursion Trains, oxcopt the Ordinary Time Tablo is susponded, Parcels and Goods for Pipitea, Kaiwarra, Ngahauranga, Belmont, Hayward's, Silver Stream, Wallaceville, Summit, Cross' Creek, Pigeon Bush, Fernside, Woodside, and at Flag Stations, must bo Prepaid, aud will be put out on the platforms of thoao Stations at the risk of tho Consignee. Special Notice—To ensure despatch, Parcels, Extra Luggage, and Dogs must he at tho Station at least Thirty Minutes boforo advertised timo of departure of Train. The Railway Department does not pledge itself to tho despatch or arrival of tho Trainß at the exact times notified in tho above Tables, and in the event of any circumstances arising either during or prior to the journey being rnado which may render it impossible or inexpedient for a Train to pro • ceed, will return tho Fares paid, but does not undertake to forward the passengers. Lutjgage.—Each passenger is allowed to take 112lbs of personal luggage free (not in eluding merchandise of any kind), and for every 501bs abovo this weight, for every srj miles or fraction of 50 miles, the charge will be One Shilling, 'No luggage willbeallowed to be taken into the carriages, unless of such a _ size that it cau be placed under the seat without inconvenience to other passengers.
