at auokund; " ♦ : , Auckland, June 1, The City of Sydney arrived from San Francisco at i p.m. She left San Francisco on May 16; and experienced fine weather except during the last two days, when she encountered a heavy gale, Passengers: Por.Sydney—Thirtyeight cabin, and thirty-one steerage; for Auckland—Cabin: Mrs Haslefcfc and daughter, Miss Duncan, Mrs Dart, Messrs Kennedy and C.'Lucian, Master Kennedy,,-'.; Steerage: ; Messrs Friedlander, Hauoberger, Jackson, Walsh Andersen, Young, G'ruickshank, Newby Gardiner, Rouse, Neil, Eayle, Knox, Aldrich, Metcalfe, and Keelan. Among the cargo for Auckland are 974 cases salmon, 216 cases canned goods, 8 bales brown corn, and 40 cases dried fruits. She has 575 tons freight for Sydney. The steamer sails for Sydney to-night,
