Thos, Kelly was charged with being drunk on Monday. Defendant pleaded guilty.
I Sergeant McArdle spoke to finding hiru.inthe streets, andordering him to go, but defendant would not go. Pined 5s or 48 hours, ■
Thos, Hogan; alias Jones, was charged with vagrancy and drunkenness.
Sergeant McArdle said the rann was a nuisance to the public, as he had been convicted before, and he'could call evidence to prove; his spending the money given him in drink Mary Harding said the man had come and asked Her for money, and she gave him sixpence, He was very quiet when ho went away. D. E.-Toe-hill-said- he knew the accused, and lie was a frequent visitor to his hotel. Saw a man give defendant ss, and witness also gave him some money.. ; He'had bad occasion to order the man off his.premises. The Sergeant .said .he had.- other witnesses if the 'Court .'wished, The Court: You have been found guilty of vagrancy and drunkenness, and you will be imprisoned for three months. -.'■;•■ -.;,- -.-•■■■.■.■.
