HUMANITY. TO THE EDITOR WAIRARAPA DAILY. . Sir,—l am compelled to addres3you Upon a subject; against which I feel very strongly, that is, tho condition of softio of the unfortunate livery stable horses. I have every reason to believe some of them have to go long, journeys without having had sufficient: food. There are many kinds of cruelties practised upon horses, and I think that is one of the worst. Cruelty is a Bin that cries to God, and he will not always let, it go unpunished. I sincerely hope a society will be formed in Masterton as there are in other towns, which will tend in a great measure to alleviate the distress of many unfortunate animals, who have the misfortune to own a master more like a brute than a man.' • ; Humanity, ■
