Mr Woodroofe pointed out that the dchool bad been closed only two. days short of a hundred, and asaerted that there were general complaints' bn ; the subject of holidays. He thought the corps had a generai claim upoH thtm, and ho proposed that this be met by a grant ot 110 for ilie year in aid of the cadet funds,. Mr Galloway seconded the resolution. Mr Woudroofe desirod the question to be postponed till their next meeting as two of their members were away that evening. Ho had the stron&ost' possible feelin« against the cadets, The time and holidays they took from one end of the year to the other- was simply .enormous, and the spirit of industry was ex* tinguished.
