NUISANCES.
TO THE EDITOR. Sin,—Will you allow me a space in your paper to say a few words. T have seen a great deal in the paper lately about nuisances. Now my opinion is this: We must not always condemn our butchers for bad smells, for I think we should all look 'at home and see what we do there, Are we particular to throw one windows open in the morning ? That is one point in health, and not to keep your house shut up like a tomb, Secondly, to leave off burning your cabbage leaves, potatoe peelings, bones, and other offensive things. You inhale all those bad smells, and then you wonder what has brought sickness into your home, that is the real mother of diseases. If we are to be healthy we must keep our houses clear from smells, It is no use blaming our' neighbors for what we bring on ourselves—unthinkingly not wilfully. I wish to point this out'asitisa great ovil to ourselves and also to our little ones.—l am, Faiu Play.
