The Government hot having replied to. telegrams re the financial position of the hospital; the following resolution was passed to-night:- '• That unless the Government provide funds immediately to carry, on the institution, tho committee of management will resign, at the end of the'presenfc month." ' The Owako powder mill, encprporating null, exploded Again- last evening at 5 p.m., the, mill-keeper getting rather severely'buriicd. . He had just lifted tho worked charge and put a green one on the mill and was in tho act of taking the worked: chargo away when the new one exploded, which also exploded that being removed. Tho mill has only been working three weeks sinco effecting the repairs caused by tho last accident.
