About a dozen of the Masterton players turned out for practice on Saturday afternoon, Kicking and dribbling was indulged in soj about two hours, C, Perry and Betbune. making some good " drops." . " In tho evening the annual meeting of the Masterton Football Club was held in tho Institute, there being about twenty players present. Mr W. McKenzie occupying the Chair,' After tho minutes of the last general meeting were read and confirmed, the following officers were elected for the ensuiiig year President, A. E, Bunny; (reelected) ; Vice-Presidents,- W. Lowes and W. H, Beetham; Captain, W, Harvey; Yice-Captain, J. Perry ; Seel retary and Treasurer, J, Williams; Committee, W. McKenzie, W, Perryj I'. Betbune, C. Perry. After a vote ofthanks had been passed 'to the re: tiring captain, Mr C. B, Morrison, the meeting adjourned.
