MASTERTON HIGHWAY BOARD.

The ordinary monthly , meeting of the above was held on Saturday last. Present—Messrs E, Motedith, sen. (chairman), W. H. Beethata. T..E; Chamberlain, Macquarrie andib'agg. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed.

Letters were "read,, from ratepayers, requesting the expejidituie of a sum on the road leading to the Upper Manaia, the road not having been made. The Engineer was instructed to make an inspection,' and to get the work done, providing it did not exceed £lO.
