Tawliaio visited tho Government offices to-day, and received attention from Ministers who were present, MELBOURNE, April 9. Sailed, this afternobn—Fteamship Wairarapa, for the Bluff. ALBANY, April 9. Arrived, in King George's Sound, this morning—P. and 0. the steamship Rome, with inward mails, via Suez and Brimlisi, dated London, March 7, One of her passengers is suffering from small pox, . MELBOURNE, April 9. Tho Navigation Board concluded its inquiry into the Adelaide-Wairarapa collision to-day, and delivered its decision. The Board found that tho Adelaide being the overtaking vessel, was bound by the regulations to keep out of the way of tho Wairarapa, and that Captain Lockyear was, therefore, responsible-for the casualty. Taking into consideration tho darkness arid the dangers of tho channel, the Board considered it highly reprehensible to proceed at such a high rate of speed, the vessels being, in -dangerous proximity. The Board suspended tho certificate of Captain Lockyear, for two months, and severely censured both masters, and cautioned them as to the future. Captain Derlin, Nautical Assessor, entereda protest against .tho finding -of- tho Board, boing of opinion that both of the masters were responsible for the collision. SYDNEY, , April 9.
